Barbeque on Island

It is now possible to hire the Isle Of Inisfree excluscively to have a barbeque on Inchagoill island. The food is prepared by a proffesional chef on board or on the island. We can cater for groups of between 20 and 40. The total cost of this service is €40p.p, which includes the following.

Cruise with commentary from Ashford Castle to Inchagoill island
30 minute guided tour at St Patrick's 5th cent monastic site.
Fresh meats barbequed accompanied by patatoe salad and a variety of pastas and breads etc, all to be followed by a selection of homemede desserts.
Return cruise to Ashford Castle for history commentary from the lake.

Live music can also be arranged around an open fire on the island.

Spiritual Retreat on Island

What better place to have a spiritual retreat or religious outing than in the surrounds of St Patrick's 5th century monastic site on Inchagoill island.

The island has often been described as one of Ireland's hidden treasures. You have over 100 hundred acres of native woodland, flora, fauna and 5 miles of ancient wooded walks all surrounded by the lapping waters of beautiful Lough Corrib. Definitely a place of peace and tranquility, once enjoyed by psalm chanting monks of a different era. It is also possible to have your own priest/church leader have services here. As always we can also arrange food and music by prior arrangement.
